The area is conveniently situated with easy access to the M6 and benefits from an excellent supermarket complex. The new Ricoh arena is situated in Longford. Opened in 2004, this complex is home to Coventry City Football Club, as well as offering many other amenities, including a health and fitness facilities, a casino and exhibition space. Top bands and singers including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams have chosen to visit the Ricoh arena on their national tours.
